Back in France...for a week

So I am back in France, once more. After teaching two weeks ago for a week in Montpellier I made my last trip this year to Montpellier. Leaving my family once more behind in germany I took the Air France flight to Montpellier.
Unfortunately the flight to Montpellier is via Paris Charles de Gaulle. I do not really like that airport. Too many delays, cancellations etc.
But so far it all went fine. Only problem yesterday at the arrival was: NO KEY was there to open the door from the walkway to the Bus that carried us to the Terminal D.
Wow, was our flight so unexpected ?
Anyway. After this little struggle and the security check at CDG Terminal 2F I was there. Well security check. It is really a pain. If you have a connecting flight and you have to go to another Terminal you have to go through security again. In Paris this could lead to long waiting times. Once I was there, 3rd in line and they suddenly decided to close this security check. Me and about 100 others had to go to the other already overcrowded checkpoint.
Yesterday it was not that bad. Only that they had one guy controlling the tickets before you enter the waiting line...that caused another line in front of the waiting line... Best was, the security guy at the checkpoint itself then again checked your ticket...how useful is that ???
Montpellier was ok: I have a "old" 54000km Ford Focus Automatic TDCI with lots of scratches, dents and so on... french style :-)
After checking in I went to Hippopotamus. A Steak Restaurant near the Hotel. Had a big Burger. Was pretty good.
Weather is mild and sunny. Let's see how the week goes.
A bientot
