The girls had a pretty good quality chair for their room / school table. We go the chair from Dagmars sister. So the Chair was already loved and used by their Kids. Of course the years left some marks. The fabric cover had some worn out areas, the arm rest was partially gone, but the rest of the chair was still intact and very reliable.
We asked a local upholstery store for a price for the renovation of the chair. We were a bit surprised. The price for the frabric was already 100-120 Euro , labor etc. all together would have been almost 470 Euros. The NEW chair from Mayer Sitzmöbel costs around 240 Euro. So we decided to do it ourselves.

So all together I paid 60 Euro for the fabric, fleece (and we still have some left) Armrests plus a good invested BOSCH stapler that will be used for many other things. The stapler is really great.
