Unheilig - Zenith Munich

 Unheilg, a german Band found by the "Graf". I was listing in the early 2000s, 2010s to his music. Loved it, then he quit the business the have more time with the family etc.

Now he is back and Joachim, Dagmar and I got tickets and drove to the Zenith in Munich. A cool location, well ocated inside a business area wiht small streets and many different companies, so it took us about 45 minutes for the past 500m to reach the Parking. Anyway. 

The crowd was about our age and older.. some younger ones, but obviously many fans were like us from the old times :-) 

Riku Rajamaa (guitarist of finnish band Sunrise Avenue) was the first opening act. Good guitar rock. Then came Sophia, a german singer. Very nice songs, melodic...

Unheilig was really good to see after soooo many years. His deep voice and the different styles in his music made it a great evening. We enjoyed every minute.

Knockout Festival 2025

 It was again the time of the year, right before Christmas, where we met in Karlsruhe to celebrate the Knockout Festival. This year with another classic Lineup:
Dirkschneider as the main act, Eisbrecher, Axel Rudi Pell, Thundermother, Grave Digger, Freedom Call.

Again we started on Friday to meet with the friends, have some good greek food, drinks, Party. On Saturday Olav, Steffen and I made a surprise visit to our old friend Jörg. His wife called us if we can come over, since he got a surgery and couldn't join us on a friday as usual. So we did that. Was fun. His face when he saw us, priceless :-) 
Later at the Badisch Brauhaus we had also some new buddies with us and we had food, beer, fun...

The concert was a mix of old and new acts. I really enjoyed Thundermother. The swedish girls really made a great show and as usual there are not enough female Rock Bands at those Festivals. 
Grave Digger, Axel Rudi Pell, Eisbrecher and Dirkschneider made this evening once ore a great Memory. 
Headbanging, sweating, beers, fast food, laughter.

The new staff at the Hotel Bar made a great job as well.

2026 is already booked :-)
