8th international SchwobaCup 2014

It was time again for the 8th international Old- and Youngtimer SchwobaCup in Ehningen near Boeblingen.
More than 70 cars participated this time. Even though the weather forecast was pretty bad for the sunday, June 29th 2014, it was a nice Rallye. There was some rain at starttime and in the black forrest, but mainly it was dry.
My oldest son Fabian was my navigator again. He did a great job. The Roadbook guided us  from Ehningen via Aidlingen, Gechingen, Althengstett, Hirsau, Bad Liebenzell, Beinberg, Oberreichenbach, Würzbach, Agenbach, Enzklösterle to Besenfeld where we had our lunch break. The tour went back down the  Besenfeldsteige onward via  Klostereichenbach, Igelsloch, Überberg, Altenstaigdorf, Berneck, Rotfelden, Oberjesingen, Sulz am Eck, Kuppingen, Deckenpfronn, Dachtel, Aidlingen back to  Ehningen.
My Trabant's new Engine also reached the  1000km mark. Running smooth and fine :-)
We did not win anything this time, but we had a lot of fun and lots of beautiful cars (Renault 4, Mini, VW Beetle, Porsche, Corvette, Mercedes SL and so on )

Little vacation at the Mosel river

We had a three day vacation with the grand parents and the sister in law with her family. The beautiful Mosel river area near Trier has lots of things to see and taste :-)
The wine is gooood there. So we stayed at a little winery with our families.
