First days in Austin, Texas

We arrived fine in Austin,TX. With wonderful mild summerlike temperatures in the 70s/80s (20-30 C). All is fine, rental car, Hotel. Rental is a 261HP Nissan Xterra, just the right size for Texas :-). The Jetlag is taking maybe 2 more days and then we are pretty good adapted. Currently three colleagues are here from Germany, Japan, France, but they will leave end of this week. That means, that I will be on my own for the rest of the 4 weeks. Of course Dagmar and Josefine are with me for a total of 2 weeks, but then it will be more quiet. Luckily I know some people and so I can have some meetings with colleagues and talk about work etc.

We had a very very pleasant trip so far to Atlanta and now with free inflight Internet access to Austin, cooool.Josefine finally sleeps.

Last warm,sunny day

Up to 18C in mid November is pretty rare for germany. We were lucky to have that weather last weekend, so we made a walk with the dog.
