Our tradition since 2004 is living on and on...today we took a new picture on the steps in front of our house.
We really love this and even though the older kids are not really the ones smiling all the time anymore are still proud to be part of this family tradtion.
My favorite Band from hanover, that I listen to and love since almost the beginning (I listen since 1988) is Futy in the Slaughterhouse. I have been to several concerts in the past >30 years but since I am together with Dagmar we never went together to a concert.
This year the multiple times moved concert in Stuttgart the nice Location Killesberg in Stuttgart finally took place and our friend "Heinz" and I decided to go again. He is also a big fan and we saw them together in Ulm a few years back. This year I said to Dagmar, it is time to come with us.
She loved it. We arrived on that hot and humid Friday at the location and were able to go almost to the front of the stage. Since there were other "smaller" woman, she finally ended up in the first row :-)
Heinz and I were about 2-3 meters back and had also a fantastic view and experience. The opening act Seeleman made a great show and his songs are really amazing.
At the final tones of the last song, the rain started, since it was still warm, we enjoyed it. Dagmar was also in the newpaper with a pic of the front row :-) he first Fury concert and immediately in the news, hehe
Usually my buddy Norbert "Nobse"Bengel plans his SchwobaCup Young & Oldtimer Rallye for the end of June/early July. Due to Corona it was cancelled 2020,2021 and also this year, since it was not really clear in February if it would be possible without big issues / pre-requisites due to Corona.
The so called "Hocketse" was finally planned for the weekend of June 25th til June 27th. So Nobse was at least able to plan a Oldtimer gathering for the 26th of June. A few dozen cars came at a perfect, sunny day. I of course attended as well with my little Trabant and met some good old friends.
