Last interactive BBQ for 2010 with Johann Lafer

It was time again for another interactive BBQ with chefcook Johann Lafer (michelin star cook) and Tim Mälzer, Ruth Moschner. Our 5th attendance. It is a interesting BBQ. On the Radio Station you get the recipes and shopping list a few days before. Meanwhile many stores prepare those things already for the people that attend. This time almost 100 000 people attended.

On the radio Johann Lafer tells you exactly what to prepare at what time and when to put something on the BBQ.
It is always something challenging (cake on the BBQ and so on).
This time our friends Tina and Arndt hosted us and our friends Anja and Jochen (all with kids of course).
It took some hours to finish all the different starter, main course, dessert...but it was worth the time and everything.
We had a wonderful sunday. On SWR3 they called it "abgrillen" which means last BBQ of the year. Well, for us the last BBQ is pretty often the 31st of December and the first BBQ is on the 1st of January :-)

So our BBQ grill is on all the year... yeahhh

7. Spritzkraut Classics - Krautfest Leinfelden-Echterdingen

It was time again for a Classic car corso. Together with historic bikes, motorbikes, Tractors it took place the 7th time in Leinfelden. The weather was not so nice. Cold temperatures and some rain. Not many young and oldtimers participated but quite a lot Tractors (Porsche, Lanz Bulldog, Deutz...). My co-pilot Fabian was happy and Dagmar took some pictures. See them here:

Nuerburgring 2.10.2010

We were at the famous Nuerburgring again. After being there with the Cougar Team (EURO-NECO) in 2005 and 2007 we finally made it again with 6 Cougars. We had the typical Eifel weather with cool temperatures and fog. The new RING WERK (which was called Erlebniswelt before) has some few original Race Cars to look at, lots of multimedia PS3 racing simulators, 3D and 4D Cinemas, but all for a higher price than before and not that satisfying as we all found. But luckily there is the Nordschleife (northloop) 21km, 73turns. We mad one lap on the loop again with the little foggy weather. Was thrilling, as usual.
