Canon EOS 550D - sweet

For many years I was looking for a Digital SLR. My original SLRs (Minolta XD-7, Minolta X700) from the 70s/80s are "retired" since I had my first Digital Camera in 1999 (Mustek). In 2000 I bought my first Canon POWERSHOT S10 2 Megapixel Camera. Great Camera that is still working. Then came a S50, S80, SX210iS and now, due to a good opportunity, a Canon EOS 550D (Rebel T2i). 18 Megapixel, 18-55 EF-S lens.
I took the chance to participate a Auction in our town. The Police/Public Prosecution Department auctioned more than 260 goods like Digital Cameras, TVs, Laptops, Mobile Phones. More than 200 people were there and I made a list before and looked at all the Cameras I was interested in.
But I put a limit. Well, if I would have had more money, I could have bought a NIKON D300s for 600€ instead of the original 1300€, but well, I was blocked by a turkish family that almost bought all the good cameras, lenses, TVs etc. Anyway... I had a plan, and it kind of worked.
At the end of the 5 hour Auction I had a brand new CANON EOS 550D with 18-55mm lense for 100€ less than in the stores and a PS3 Bundle for 150€ less than in the stores. Not bad at all.
Now I am playing around with this great camera, that had excellent test results for the picture quality. It is not the fastest with 3.4 pics/second, but not bad at all.
I will play around more now and also my family loves the easy to use and fast Auto focussing and shooting EOS 550D.
Enjoy a few pictures:

@Dorion :-) well, it is hard to believe in the past it was not possible to see the pictures immediately...it was always that curious feeling how the pictures turn out...Loved the old SLRs. Since I still have all my old Digital Canon cameras as well I decided to make that shot :-)
