Rammstein Live in Stuttgart

Wow, we waited three years to finally see the Rammstein Concert in Stuttgart. It was a pain and struggle to even get those tickets in 2019 before the Corona Pandemy. Moved from 2020 to 2021 and now to 2022.

We originally had the cheapest tickets (because we had no other choice possible after hours of spending on the overlodaded Ticket Homepage. Those tickets were for the grandstand in the stadium . Far, far away from the Mainstage and with a possible bad view due to the lightmasts.

Anyway, our luck was that due to the multiple delays the stadium in Stuttgart is now being renovated and they moved to the Cannstatter Wasen. Our tickets were changed from gradnstand to infield. Usually a bad idea for Dagmar with her 1.57m, but we had kind of luck. We arrived early enough to get a place around a fence for a generator. So Dagmar could climb up a biut to see more. I was able to see most and we were just behind the more expensive inner infield / Firezone part. So the view was good, saw the full, huge Stage.

I am a fan of Rammstein since the beginning. I remember wearing the Mother shirt during one of my many US Trips. A colleague saw it in the cafeteria and said, his son started german at school because of the Rammstein albums/Music.

The Show this year was amazing, breathtaking and probably the best show I ever saw in 35 years going to Live concerts all around the world.  The sound was clear with a huge bass. Absolutely clear sound. The fireshow was also amazing and since we stood almost in the middle we felt like in a microwave, when all firethrowers were active.

We also noticed the small stage about 10m next to us. That was the stage, where the opening act DUO JATEKOK played. Those two woman play classic piano Music and they played Rammstein songs as classic music. Absolutely wonderful. We even played their music to my inlaws :-) that usually never listen to that "hottentotten music".

During the show also Til Lindemann and the rest of the band was playing on that small stage, 10m away from us. We had a perfect view. Dagmar was happy.
